ROSIE GREENWOOD

Lost over 3 Stones

Towards the end of last year, I found myself under the neurologist for the second time in five years and waiting for scan results. Neither gave me any answers and as the frequency and severity had increased to an unmanageable level, I was placed on the highest dose of anti-seizure medication for my condition. This came with a host of nasty side effects and looking back now life was a blur.
Both the neurologist and my GP had recommended that I try exercise but every time I tried running or an exercise DVD it triggered yet another migraine, and when they were lasting on average, six days, I sort of built up a phobia of exercise.  My situation was getting me down and I was piling on weight from comfort eating. In February I saw the advert for The Transformation Hub and decided to give it a shot, what’s the worst that could happen.
Six months down the line I’ve lost 13kgs and have seen a massive improvement in my fitness levels. The biggest improvement for me though has been the increase in my energy levels, I no longer feel permanently lethargic (a side effect of the medication) and have energy to actually do things on my days off.

BRITTANY OGDIN

Lost Over 2.5 Stones

’I’ve always had bad habits with eating and am such an emotional eater. I eat when I’m happy, eat when I’m sad, eat when I’m bored … the list goes on!
I had a massive gain ‘happy-eating’ in my first pregnancy, but managed to loose 4.5 stone afterwards … just as I became pregnant with my second. This time I stayed on track making healthier choices, but at our 20 week scan we were given bad news and it was a massive turning point in all my hard work. I began comfort eating as I struggled to deal with what was happening. Against the odds, 4 months ago our baby boy was born completely healthy and perfect! I had gained around 4 stone and found recovering after caesarean really hard.
I am half way through the plan and feeling so much more like my old self. I am over the moon with the numbers on the scales, but also I feel like my attitude towards food has completely changed and I feel much more aware and in control of what I am fuelling my body with. All the members are so welcoming and really care about helping each other keep going when the sweat starts! The trainers know everyone by name and are really positive and encouraging both in sessions and with nutritional support. The little extras of being part of the community facebook page and the nutritional booster sessions, have really helped me stay positive and focused to get results.
 I 100% recommend anyone to join and get started on their own journey, my only regret is that I hadn’t done this years ago!

ROXANNE ISAJI

Lost over 4 Stones

In January 2019, I realised my intermittent gym workouts and years of failed dieting, weren’t giving me the results I wanted – I needed to try something different.
I decided I was ready to make a change and most importantly, make time to invest in myself. So when my aunt recommended the Hub, I joined the 6 week challenge and soon after, became a member.
The Hub provides a platform to learn about nutrition, alongside workout sessions which suit my lifestyle. In addition, both the members and trainers celebrate every success with you, making it infinitely easier to keep on track.
I now know how to:
* Structure my meals
* Balance my exercise
* Lift with the correct technique
* Get the results I want without giving up my life to fitness
I knew the Hub would help me to achieve my goal – the gregarious environment and support system underpin some of the invaluable differences between the hub and other regular gyms.
I’m the healthiest I’ve been in a long time. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I know the hub will help me achieve my goals. My mindset has changed, providing focus and allowing me to embed a healthier lifestyle for the long term. It’s the right place, the right people and the right process.
I’d like to thank the trainers and the fantastic members for their ongoing support along my journey so far.’

STACEY PARK

Lost over 2 stones

I joined the Hub in September on the 6 week programme. I had piled weight on since having kids and have joined my local gym and different ‘weight loss’ groups several times with the hope of losing weight, getting fit and improving my overall wellbeing but never been able to stick at it. I have 3 children aged 6, 9 and 11 and work fulltime as a nurse, I therefore put everyone else before myself and the Hub has helped me to realise that I need to spend time on myself to better prepare myself to help others.

Joining the Hub was the best thing I could have done for myself, I actually enjoy going which I never thought I would say, I joined for 6 months after the initial 6 week programme and will certainly commit the another 6 months. I have met some of the most amazing, kind and friendly people whilst at the hub, Every single one of the ladies and trainers are always there with words of support and encouragement, I cannot recommend this place highly enough, from day one you feel part of the Hub community.

I am losing weight, eating better and more importantly I have the energy to run round the park with the kids. I look forward to my 3 hours ‘me time’ at the Hub every week, a chance to exercise and catch up with some of the loveliest people.

“What a difference 6 Months makes. The 1st photo was taken the weekend before I started at the HUB. The 2nd was in June on Holiday in Devon.”

“The HUB for me is MY place!

The 1st 6 weeks were tough, but with the nutrition plan and the support of the trainers, I started to see results, but the main thing i was enjoying it. 6 weeks was coming to an end. It was Valentines and my gift from Peter was signing up again for another 6 months.

I can only say a big thankyou to all the Trainers & the Hubette’s; I couldn’t have done this with your support.

So feeling happier; healthier & nearly 2 stone lighter its onwards and upwards. I can’t recommed the HUB enough.

We feel there is a need to offer a supportive community to empower all women through professionally guided programs with proven results.

\

Women deserve to have a welcoming group they can feel part of ; that encourages and enables them to enjoy a positive healthy happy life without feeling they need to meet unrealistic media driven expectations, without shame or judgment.

\

Women should have more access to preventative education and awareness. It is a fact that women who work outside or in the home more than 55 hours a week are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression.
